We understand that our members, school families, staff and other members of the Congregation B’nai Israel community place a high level of value and importance on privacy.  With that understanding, we work hard to protect any personal information, such as your name, address, email address or phone number that you provide to us. As a result, we have prepared this Privacy and Security Statement to let you know about the manner in which we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage the personal information you entrust to us.
When you provide personal information on our website, over the phone, or in person, you are consenting to the manner in which Congregation B’nai Israel will collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your personal information, as set out below.

Collection and Use of Personal Information
We may collect personal information that you provide us when you: Purchase or request certain information about our services; Contact us by phone; Visit or register with our website; or provide us with comments or suggestions.

Online Registration and Donation

Online registration and donation opportunities are optional services provided by our website. You do not have to register online for our events or make donations online; alternate registration and donation methods are available. When you register/donate, you are asked for personal information such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and other personal information.  By providing us with this information, the registration/donation process makes the online experience quicker and easier. 

Other Uses of Personal Information
Congregation B’nai Israel uses personal information to continually assess and improve the services we offer. We would also like to inform you of services that might benefit you. Using the information you provide us, we are able to send you mail, email or call you with information about our service and program offerings. Congregation B’nai Israel would like to inform you of events, programs, news and services that might benefit you, and from time to time might use surveys and assessments to acquire personal information to assess and improve the services we offer. We may communicate this information with you via email.  When you receive emails from the cbi@cbiboca.org email address, if you would like to stop receiving email information from us, see the Opt-Out section on the bottom of the email. Please allow sufficient time for your preference to be processed.

Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal Information Disclosure: Congregation B’nai Israel will not trade, rent or sell your personal information. Legal Notice: Congregation B’nai Israel must provide your personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required by law. We may also disclose personal information to assist us in collecting a debt owed by you. Access: You may request access to the personal information that we have about you. Security of Personal Information: We will maintain the confidentiality of all personal information collected and will only disclose such information to employees who require such information for the purposes described in this Privacy and Security Statement. We maintain certain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control, but, as with any system, cannot guaranty that it is foolproof. Security Measures on Our Secured Site: When you place orders on our Site, all of your order information, including your credit card number and delivery address, is transmitted through the Internet using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.
