(Click appropriate link above to purchase tickets) Lori Sklar Mitzvah Day "Children of the Community and World" Sunday, February 26 11:00 am - 12:00 noon Cafe Mitzvah, Come read text and learn with Rabbi Bloch about the meaning of "Mitzvot" Opening ceremony 12:30 pm led by Rabbi Silvers, Rabbi Bloch, Cantor Shore and Phil Nadel, President Followed by FREE lunch generously SPONSORED by Subway Mitzvah activities and TIKVA Walk afterwards Click here to learn more about and register for the TIKVA Walk and other activities at Patch Reef Park. We will be collecting the following items: Used cell phones, eye glasses, shoes, tuna, Passover Items, peanut butter NOTE: There is no cost to participate in Lori Sklar Mitzvah Day. There are a few activities/items for which there is a registration fee: - TIKVA Walk $5 per person OR $18 per familiy. Payment may be made online with a credit card or check (payable to CBI) may be droppped off in the administration office or mailed to CBI, 2200 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431. Please make sure to mark your payment for TIKVA Walk with the names of your registrants. - Basketball Tournament at Patch Reef Park to raise funds for Camp Jenny, a program for inner city students run through the URJ Camp Coleman: $10 per player (Register in groups of 3). Appropriate for 9 year-olds and up. For more information about Camp Jenny, click here. - A children's author will read her book called "Sara and Geoffrey- Adventures to Save the World - Donate Clothes" at Patch Reef Park after The TIKVA Walk. The book is about two kids who learn that some kids are less fortunate and need clothes. They rally friends and family to help gather used clothes and donate them to others. An autographed copy will be available for $8 at the park or online with 70% of the funds generated going directly to TIKVA.
