| This program is designed to maintain and reinforce skills that were introduced this past year. Campers will spend a major part of their day involved in activities such as cutting, letter recognition and phonics, sequencing, patterning, rhyming, drawing shapes and math skills. These skills and concepts will have your emerging pre-k child feel confident and self-assured as they enter school in the fall. In addition, campers will participate in water play, music, cooking, arts & crafts and sports. Our goal for the children is to socialize, learn, feel good about themselves and have fun! |

| The Bridge to Kindergarten is an excellent program designed to maintain learned skills during the summer. It’s aim is to consolidate math, language and journaling skills and thus enable the children to enter kindergarten with confidence. Academic work is focused on until noon. There.after the children enjoy all the regular camp activities such as cooking, art, sports, music, waterpark playground, computers, light tables and waterplay. |
SUMMER STAFF
Our staff is comprised of counselors, junior counselors, counselors in training and specialists. Our counselors are professional educators and mature, loving, responsible college students. Junior counselors are juniors and seniors in high school who have camp experience and have shown an interest in, and love of, children. Counselors in training are eighth, ninth, and tenth graders who are interested in becoming junior and senior counselors. Our specialists are all well qualified in their area of specialization. All staff are carefully chosen and supervised. The Director and staff work together to create an atmosphere that is in tune with, and sensitive to, the needs of each child. Counselor/Camper ratios are kept low to ensure that each child receives individual attention and maximum supervision.
