Feldman Children’s Library
The Feldman Children's Library is a wonderful resource for Congregation B'nai Israel's children, teens, parents and teachers. It houses over 5,000 books on a wide variety of topics ranging from history to the holidays. The library is also a hub of activity. Preschool classes visit the library for weekly story time, and Religious School classes use the library for research, special projects and pleasure reading. Monthly TAG 13 workshops are held in the library to assist teens with preparation for B'nai Mitzvah. Click here to access the Web Safari Online Catalog.
Our professionally trained librarian frequently offers workshops in Jewish literary topics for CBI, as well as for Palm Beach County and at educational conferences. The library's collection includes:
Jewish books for preschool through college
Non-religious books to support the curriculum of the Nadel Center for Early Childhood Education
A Preschool Teacher Resource Center
A Bibliotherapy and Parenting Section to help families talk about difficult issues.
The Feldman Children's Library is accredited by the Association of Jewish Libraries and is an active member of the AJL's South Florida Chapter.
