Youth Groups

Congregation B'nai Israel's Youth Activities department features programs which offer students in Grades K-12 the opportunity to develop friendships in a relaxed, informal atmosphere where fun is the operative word. Our youth groups have meeting/activity nights and a separate youth group calendar of outings and events is available. The monthly Synagogue calendar and periodic mailings provide news on youth group activities.

Our Senior Youth Group, BISY (B'nai Israel Senior Youth) is open to 9th through 12th graders. Children in grades 6 through 8 participate in our Junior Youth Group, and Double J is offered for 4th and 5th graders. We have also recently expanded our youth programs to include Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Major events will be offered three times a year for grades K-3, with additional meetings offered periodically for 2nd and 3rd graders.

Parents are urged to get involved, too, as field trip and event chaperones, coaches and to serve on the Youth Committee-which is dedicated to making the CBI Youth Program into one of the best anywhere. We also encourage you to find out more about our popular Education programs.
