Kantor Family Center for Justice
Working together, we can make a difference!
Why the Kantor Family Center for Justice?
CBI was built on a foundation of service to the community. It is part of our DNA, our backbone. In fact, it’s our obligation as Jews to perform the mitzvot of Tzedakah (justice) to enhance the quality of life, and Gemilut Chasadim (Deeds of Lovingkindness).
Kantor Family Center for Justice reaches far and wide throughout our community both locally and worldwide to help those in need, builds interfaith ties with other religious groups, and provides so many ways for you to fulfill not only these Mitzvot but the Mitzvah of Tikkun Olam, or repairing the world.
Our work has not gone unnoticed. We’ve won national awards for our Interfaith and Social Action programming - but neither is complete. In fact, in today’s world, the need for mitzvot has never been greater.
Social action efforts by the KFCJ include:
High Holy Day Baskets - Assembly and delivery of holiday food and holiday goodies to area homebound.
Project Isaiah- Annual collection during Yom Kippur to feed those in need throughout South Florida in conjunction with the Forster Family Kosher Pantry.
Feed the Hungry - In partnership with Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, CBI's annual event serves more then 5,000 Thanksgiving meals to those less fortunate in the community.
