In honor of World Kindness Day on November 13, 2020, we dedicated our first Little Free Pantry with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, featuring CBI’s Rabbi Silvers and Ebenezer Church’s Pastor Brown at the historical Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.
CBI is now able to help feed the community all year long in addition to our annual Thanksgiving Feed the Community event.

Its name says it all – it is a Little Free Pantry – a beautifully painted pantry box filled with non-perishable goods for members of our community and is in loving memory of CBI Member Lori Hodges Sklar from her parents’ Foundation.

We need your help to keep it full. We are currently collecting the following items:
Canned Ravioli and Spaghetti • Canned fruit • Plastic bags • Canned soup • Boxed Macaroni & cheese • Tuna fish or Chicken canned or cellophane bags •
Salmon canned or cellophane bags • Cereal • Peanut butter • Spaghetti/penne/elbow • Canned Sardines • Rice in boxes • Ritz Crackers • Jelly • Cereal Bowls •
Individually wrapped cookies • Individually wrapped cakes • Shelf milk • Small bags of chips • Tomato sauce • Sunflower butter • Canned Vienna Sausages •
