At Congregation B’nai Israel we offer many opportunities for you to worship. Shabbat evening services are held on Fridays at 7:30 pm in our Cohen/Friedkin Sanctuary, unless otherwise noted. Our Shabbat worship is innovative and diverse and filled with song, joy, and spirituality. We also use our Shabbat services as a venue for learning, by engaging noted rabbis and scholars who share with us on timely issues.
Join us at 9:00 am on Saturday mornings, we offer a Shabbat Service in an intimate setting with Torah Discussion in our Hollander Family Chapel. We read the weekly parsha, join together in prayers and song, and participate in an engaging, in-depth discussion on the Torah portion with our clergy.
Our B’nai Mitzvah services are open to the public and are scheduled as needed. Congregation B’nai Israel also offers a wide variety of what we like to call “Special Shabbats” that incorporate music, fun, and family-friendly experiences. Special Shabbats include: Shabbat Under the Stars, Musical Shabbats, Stars and Stripes Shabbat, MLK Shabbat, Shabbat Shira, Purim Shabbat, Passover Beach Shabbat.
