CBI’s security has been updated to ensure the safety of all CBI members, staff, visitors, and property.
Main Entrance
- The preschool’s main entrance, located adjacent to the midway point of the parking lot, is now designated as CBI’s main entrance for all staff, members, board of trustees, vendors, and visitors during standard business hours.
- A certified and contracted armed security officer will monitor the main entrance and anyone entering will be screened by our OPENGATE weapons detection system.
Shabbat/Holidays/Special Programming
- For Shabbat services, holidays, and special programming (as designated and communicated by CBI board and or staff), an alternate entrance has been established by the roundabout across from the guardhouse – designated as Shabbat Services Entrance.
- A certified and contracted armed security officer will monitor the main entrance and anyone entering will be screened by our OPENGATE weapons detection system.
- Other entrances may be designated for special programming as required and communication will be sent out ahead of time.
Visitor Check-In, Appointments & Coordination with Security Personnel
- Any visitor entering CBI’s campus must bring a valid form of ID and check in at the guard house. All visitors are required to wear their visitor badge during their time on campus.
- Security personnel will direct visitors to park in the main parking area and proceed through the main entrance to meet designated CBI personnel.
- Accommodation will be made for those with disabilities or who require special assistance.
- The administrative entrance and all other entrances will remain locked. All visitors must enter via the main entrance and be screened by our OPENGATE system.
Roundabout Parking
- The roundabout (circle adjacent to the guard gate) is strictly one-way, and is used for active loading and drop-offs only. Unattended parking is prohibited.
- Accommodation will be made for those with disabilities or for those who require special assistance in coordination with a CBI staff member and security personnel via the Shabbat services entrance.
