Let’s talk turkey! As we look forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends, Congregation B’nai Israel members know there’s more in store. This will be CBI’s 43rd year partnering with Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church to provide Thanksgiving feasts for those in need. From donating food and harvest boxes to baking cookies, creating candy goody bags, sponsoring a meal, or volunteering at the event on Tuesday, November 24, there are many ways to participate in this annual tradition. Discover how you can make a difference in our community this Thanksgiving by going straight to Page 46 in November’s Bulletin.
Also in this month’s Bulletin, there’s news about CBI’s Disney Shabbat, the NCECE PO’s Chic Boutique, CBI’s Capital Campaign, and tips for end-of-year giving. You’ll see familiar faces in our CBI Special Event Photos, learn what the kids are up to at the NCECE and SLJ, and what Adult Jewish Learning opportunities there are to choose from.
Plus, CBI is making headlines! Catch up on your reading on our CBI in the News page. You’ll also be introduced to some new CBI webpages created to keep you in the know.
How many turkeys can you find in our November Bulletin? Send us your best guess, and we’ll announce our winners on social media before T-Day. Gobble, Gobble…
