Giving Back as a Community.
You’re invited to join us for a meaningful mitzvah as we assemble Rosh Hashanah gift bags to homebound elderly.
Each bag will be filled with traditional holiday items—challah, grape juice, apples, and honey—to help ensure everyone enjoys a sweet New Year.
Wednesday, September 17 4:00–6:00 PM
All ages welcome – bring your family and friends!
The Kantor Family Center for Justice will collect food staples for those in need and donate to the Jacobson Family Food Pantry, Caring Kitchen, and Boca Helping Hands.
As you exit Rosh Hashanah Services, look for the empty grocery bags.
Please fill this, or any other shopping bag, with non-perishable food items.
Bring the filled bags back to Congregation B’nai Israel any time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur or drop off during Yom Kippur services.
Volunteers are needed on Yom Kippur to help collect donated bags.
If you have any questions, please contact Alexandra Myrick or Minda Shaiman.
