Please note the following upcoming schedule changes:

  • Friday, February 13: NCECE closed, VIP, Babies and Toddlers NOT in session.
  • Sunday, February 15: No SLJ
  • Monday, February 16: CBI’s Admin & SLJ offices, and NCECE will be closed in observance of Presidents Day. VIP, Babies and Toddlers in session.

This spring, we will be holding Listening Sessions to hear directly from members of our CBI community. Your voice and experiences matter, and your input will help guide this meaningful decision as we look toward the future together. Broad participation is encouraged, and virtual sessions will be available to ensure everyone has the opportunity to join.

Women of CBI Shabbat

Friday, February 20 | 7PM​

Women of CBI will lead the service along with our clergy as we welcome Shabbat together, honoring tradition while lifting women’s voices within our sacred space.

We will also be welcoming our Guest Speaker: Faith Alexander, President of WRJ Southeast District.

Faith has served as an area director, parliamentarian, and most recently as the first vice president of the district. Through her district position, Faith serves on the WRJ North American Board where she is currently the Co-Chair of the board nominating committee, and serves on the WRJ Belonging and Development Committees, as well as the Leadership Development and Dues Task Forces. She also sits on the URJ Camp Coleman Committee, as well as the camp development sub-committee.

This service is open to all women, and all who love and support women

Hadassah Shabbat Zachor

Honoring 114 years of Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America.

At Shabbat Zachor, we will celebrate Hadassah’s founding in 1912, our enduring connection to the Purim story, Queen Esther (Hadassah) as a model of courage, and her inspiration to founder Henrietta Szold.

We will hear from Shabbat speakers Sharon Aronov, our Shinshinit, and CBI Member Eileen Danton.

Cigar & Bourbon Pairing Experience

Join CBI Clergy for an evening of camaraderie at Casa de Montecristo Cigar Lounge & Bar.

This February, help us share comfort, care, and dignity with those who need it most.

We are collecting:

  • Blankets
  • Sweaters (new or gently used)
  • Socks (new preferred)
  • Canned soups

Order items directly from our Amazon Wishlist or drop donations off at CBI. NCECE and SLJ students may bring their monthly donation directly to their classroom.

Little Free Pantry

Ways to Support:

CBI’s Little Free Pantry is located at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. Although the box “lives” on the church campus, it belongs to the community. Anyone is welcome to take items from the box and anyone is welcome to place items in the box. The box is accessible 24/7.

Help us keep the pantries full with non-perishable items:

  • Peanut Butter Crackers
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Canned Tuna
  • Canned Pasta
  • Cheese Crackers
  • Personal Care Items

Please drop off your donations between 9AM – 5PM in the blue bin in CBI’s Admin Circle.
