Cohen/Friedkin Sanctuary
Honoring the veterans of CBI and our community, we gather to recognize their service, sacrifice, and dedication.
Hear from CBI member Howie Newmark as he shares the story of his father, SGT. Dave Newmark, a WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Army’s 9th Infantry Division in Germany from 1945 to 1947. As a sergeant at the Feldafing Displaced Persons Camp near Munich, Dave helped care for Jewish survivors of the Holocaust and oversee their transition toward new beginnings after the war.
This shabbat will feature the CBI Adult Choir. Registration is required.
