Summer Social Action:
Snack Bags

school's out, but hunger doesn’t take a vacation.

This summer, CBI is stepping up to help local families by providing snack bags for kids.

How You Can Help:

  • Assemble Snack Bags at Home: Get together with family, friends, or neighbors and fill snack bags with a variety of non-perishable, individually wrapped snacks. Kids can decorate the bags to add a special touch!

  • Bag Size: Gallon-sized Ziploc bags

  • Snack Examples: Granola bars, kids’ nutrition bars, fruit snacks, fruit cups, cookies, pretzels, juice boxes, shelf-stable milk boxes (Avoid chocolate candy or anything that can melt)

  • Drop-Off Details:

    • When: Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 6 PM, Friday 9 AM – 7PM*, Saturday 10 AM – 12PM*.
      Please contact the CBI office to organize Friday evening & Saturday morning drop off.

    • Where: Congregation B’nai Israel Admin Circle – Please leave bags in blue drop-off bins.

Distribution:
Snack bags will be distributed through our Little Free Pantries throughout the summer, while supplies last.
