We’re so excited to welcome you and your child to the first day of school at the School for Living Judaism (SLJ)! This special kickoff is designed for families to experience together—meet teachers, connect with other parents, and enjoy a day full of fun and meaningful activities. Students will dive into crafts, games, a social action project, and more, while parents get a glimpse into the year ahead. We strongly encourage all parents to stay and be part of the day—it’s an important moment to start the year as a community. Don’t forget to bring school supply donations to help those in need! We can’t wait to see you there!

You’re invited to join us for a meaningful mitzvah as we assemble Rosh Hashanah gift bags to homebound elderly.
Each bag will be filled with traditional holiday items—challah, grape juice, apples, and honey—to help ensure everyone enjoys a sweet New Year.
All ages welcome – bring your family and friends!
