Passover is a celebration of freedom and family, connecting our past to the present. The week-long holiday of Passover, in which we celebrate our Exodus from Egypt, gives us several opportunities to come together as a CBI community. Below you’ll find upcoming service and event information as well as a host of resources for the holiday!
CBI’s Rabbi Emeritus, Rabbi Silvers, has compiled a Passover guide to help you prepare for the holiday.
As part of the preparation for Pesach, Jewish tradition offers the opportunity to sell your non-“Pesachdik” food and utensils that remain in your home during the entire holiday. The sale can be made by calling and authorizing the Rabbi to sell your chametz or filling the form below.
As you clean out your chametz before Passover, don’t let it go to waste. Donate your unopened, non-perishable items to help us assemble post-Passover food bags for JFS seniors in our community.
Please bring your items to any Shabbat service or drop them in the blue bin in CBI’s Admin Circle on your way in or on your way out.
