Pollock Youth Scholarship Fund

Experiential learning enriches classroom education, and we want every student to participate in off-campus experiences. The Pollock Youth Scholarship Fund helps make this possible by providing financial assistance for 10th-grade students to travel to Israel after Confirmation – a transformative highlight of their Jewish education at CBI.

The fund also supports students attending post-Confirmation trips, youth group conventions, Jewish summer camps, and the March of the Living, ensuring all can deepen their connections to Judaism and Israel.

Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Grant

The impact of Jewish camp lasts a lifetime. In fact, children who attend Jewish summer camp are more likely to become active leaders in the community, join a synagogue, support Jewish causes, and become educators and community lay leaders. In addition to all these benefits, they will get to experience the infamous favorite camper meal, Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup!

If you are considering a Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) overnight camp for the first time, your child may be eligible for a need-blind grant of $250.

CBI is holding an essay contest providing (10) $250 grants to SLJ students who plan on attending a URJ sleep-away camp for the first time this summer.
